New, neat and clean
I stayed there for two weeks in mid-September 2010. Overall a very good experience. There is a noticeable hum from the roads in the morning. There is no AC in rooms so no way I'd stay there in the summer. Good free breakfast every morning with scrambled eggs, either ham (the brits call it gammon) or sausage, breads, fresh fruit, cereals, coffee... Very nice staff (Ray is great to talk with). The place is spotlessly clean. The shower is great. Thank heavens that there is a door separating the hallways for the smoking rooms from the hallways for the non-smoking rooms, because the smell in the smoking hallways is TERRIBLE (must be smoked mixed with some type of cleaning agent). Only ten mostly boring free TV channels and you better like cricket, rugby, and soccer (sorry, it's called soccer!!!). They said the internet had been down for weeks, but it did come up while I was there ($8 per hour or $20 per day, so I went elsewhere for that).
