Ideally located just a 2 minute drive from the A1 at Stamford with quick rail links to London and the North. This luxury hotel has its own unique charm and character offering free Wi-Fi and on site parking. A popular restaurant serving delicious recopies from local fresh produce. With a direct access footpath to walk into the parkland, this offers the perfect retreat for both leisure and business users. The hotel lies within the magnificent Burghley Estate, one of the foremost Treasure Houses of the United Kingdom. Add this to the beauty of Stamford and this must be one of the best located hotels in the country. The hotel provides free breakfast.

There is a whole host of interesting things to do and places to visit in and around the beautiful historic town of Stamford including; Burghley House with extensive grounds and sculpture park which are open to the public over the summer period. Burghley Horse Trials has held the autumn 3-day event on this estate since 1961 and is the longest, continuous running international event. Other local areas of interest include; All Saints Brewery and Church, Browne's Hospital, Stamford Meadows, The Nene Valley Railway, The Barnsdale Gardens, Mid Lent Fair, Stamford Shakespeare Festival at Tolethorpe Hall, and further afield are Prebendal Manor House, Grimsthorpe Castle, Elton Hall, Peterborough Cathedral and of course the beautiful Rutland Water.

Great Food, Great Location

Great Location in the centre of Stamford and with free parking. Rooms were comfy and the food was spot on. Will return when next in Stamford.
