The BEST WESTERN George Hotel is a former 18th century coaching inn, set in the heart of Lichfield just a five minute stroll away from the famous cathedral and within easy reach of Birmingham and the motorway network. So, whatever you want from your break, you'll never want for anything in the convenience stakes! The hotel's 45 ensuite bedrooms are furnished to a very high standard and feature all the facilities that you might need to make your stay comfortable. Free Wi-Fi? Check. Superior rooms? Check. Four poster options for special occasions? Check! When it comes to the culinary, our carvery restaurant features the best of local, seasonal produce with homemade soup or hors d'oeuvres to start, a choice of roasts and Chef's Specials for main course and a tempting selection of desserts and coffee. Away from the hotel, shopping is a must, museum visiting is a pleasure and nightlife is a hoot!

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

2 thai restaurants across the street very good. Mediterranean restaurant a short walk away was terrible.
