Good locatation, needs A/C
The hotel is in a good location, 5 min walk from train station and city centre. The only 2 problems with this hotel are the location (next to the train station so can be noisy if you're room overlooks the tracks); and the lack of air conditioning means in summer the rooms can be too hot, especially if the heating is on downstairs! Good for an overnight stay if you're not spending too much time in the hotel itself.

A Very Poor Experience
I wasn't expecting great things but this hotel couldn't even meet my low expectation. The room was stuffy and hot and when you opened the window it was like the trains were coming through the room. I don't expect air con but a fan of some kind would have been good. The bed was so soft it felt like I was being eaten by the mattress. This was the worst hotel I have staid in in many many years. DON'T stay here unless you have a very high pain threshold.

A good, solid Travelodge in a great location!
Unfortunately they are severely understaffed, it took a very long time for me to queue checking in, and then it took three attempts to get my door keycard to work, then at night there was one person on bar and front of house reception, so I had to wait quite a long time for a drink and a pizza. The room was basic, as you'd expect from a travelodge, but clean and tidy. Highly recommended

Good central location
Basic hotel in central location no air con so when hot and the windows are open don't expect a good nights sleep lots of noise from late night revellers. No hair dryer in room ladies so don't plan on washing your hair.

Cheap, clean crash for odd night
Rather tired looking place, minute bar of soap in room and nothing else. Room was clean however and they did have a sort of cafe. Spoke to one employee only and he was polite and helpful. It was cheap and I suppose good value for what I paid, so I can't complain.

Good Solo accomodation for business trips etc.
Good friendly staff, Bar meals and snacks available in the evening, some all night if required. Rooms clean and tidy. The hotel is situated in a noisy location i.e next to the train station but fairly quite in the hotel during the night - during week nights at least. Good Value Hotel
