Romantic break

We had a wonderful time in Leeds the location and staff were fantastic! The only thing that let the hotel down in our opinion is that the room was quite outdated! Although alot of people would like this!

Birthday getaway

Hotel location ideal for pubs clubs and shops. Friendly helpful staff who had a warm greeting when we arrived. Room was very clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend having the breakfast even though was a buffet style everything was hot unlike some hotels I've been to in Leeds. Will be staying at this hotel again and would recommend it to family and friends

Nice hotel, just steps away from Leeds station.

Spent one night here on business. I was traveling by train and the location couldn't be more convenient. It is only a 3 to 5 minute walk. Directly arrows the street is loads of loads of retail shopping. There are several nice looking restaurants attached to the hotel but my customer choose a restaurant a bit down the road so I can't attest to their quality. The only real negative experience that is that I considers their charge for wifi to be unreasonable. It seems hotels in a slightly lower price category provide it gratis while this (and other high end hotels) charge. I think that the 20 GBP per day rate is the highest that I ever encountered.

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

I stumbled upon Leeds Kirkgate market which is just a short walk away. Combination farmers market, fish and meet market and flea market with many interesting food stalls.

Last minute getaway

The Marriott Hotel is in a class of its own. From the central location, the spacious rooms and friendly staff, the hotel is always my first choice when staying in Leeds. Cannot praise it enough.

Dining tip: In Hotel

Although the breakfast is fantastic, if trying to keep the cost down, opt for a room only deal and have breakfast out in one of the many cafes/restaurants just across the road from the hotel

Marriott Hotel, Leeds

Fabulous Hotel in probably the best location you can get for Leeds City Centre. Room was great, hotel was great and at a surprising £72 for a one nights stay... its the best value i have ever experienced. I would say though that the shower in the room seemed dated in style and power for a 4* hotel... but every single other thing was perfect in every way.

Warning - car parking is expensive!!!!

Hotel advertises Valet Parking but it does not mention that car parking is at a nearby carpark and it charges £17.50 per night or £10.50 for up to 3 hours!! (although you get a 10% discount for staying at the Marriott!!!!!) After paying £109 per night (not including breakfast) it made it a very expensive hotel, room, breakfast & parking = £150 a night, I've stayed in much nicer hotels for that kind of money. The hotel was nice and very clean as you would expect from a Marriott, but it looked tired and shabby in places (especially the bathroom). Air Con didn't work so room was hot and stuffy. Breakfast was good. Staff were very helpful and location was very good but I wouldn't stay there again.
