The Cosmopolitan Hotel has been constantly up graded and refurbished with modern decor and facilities to keep pace with the modern traveller and is thus a very good vlaue city centre hotel. Free wireless broadband is available in all public areas and guest bedrooms. (GW 05/2009) The hotel dates back to the 18th century. It has been carefully restored to its original splendour. The Cosmopolitan is one of the oldest Hotels in Leeds, formerly known as The Golden Lion Hotel for over 100 years and is situated in the centre of Leeds, close to the main shopping area and convenient to the main railway station (2 minute walk).
