DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Leeds City Centre

Gorgeous hotel in a fantastic location for bars and shops and train station. Great amenities including the Sky Bar which we frequented during our trip. Few bars literally outside if you don't want to venture too far on one night. Staff are very helpful if you do want directions to go a bit further a field. The room was clean and kitted out with everything we need including an Apple Mac computer/TV to keep us entertained. Definitely recommending getting the breakfast including as it's delicious! Only £10 if you book it when you check in. A little bit awkward to find and walk to but you soon get the hang of that.

The Mint Hotel is about five minutes walk from the train station and overlooks the canal so breakfast is a very pleasant experience looking out over the water. Despite the central location it is quiet and elegant. The bar on the top floor seems to be a destination for everyone in Leeds at some stage during their Saturday night and the views over the city are great. The service is excellent and everyone is friendly and professional. The only slight disappointment was that is took over half an hour to get drinks served outside at the ground floor bar and it wasn't busy at all. Our room was nice and the all in one Mac entertainment system was something I have not seen in a hotel before. Breakfast was also great but I am glad it was included in the price we payed through Hotelclub as it seemed pricey at almost £16 each. In our Spring package we also received a half bottle of decent wine in the room. Overall, excellent value for a great city centre hotel.

A lovely clean and modern hotel situated 5 minute walk away from the city centre. The only down side to the hotel is the£12 a day parking charge for the use of the Hotel car park

Stayed here with young son to take in an evening football match & visit relatives the next day.Staff were excellent & made my son most welcome...DVDs for the Apple Media player etc.Hotel organised taxis to/from match.Late room service meal - very quick & good quality food.Breakfast included in price [...]. This was excellent - great choice. Overnight parking in the hotel car park under the railway arches well worth the £12. The youngster loved this hotel ... so did I. For the money, highly recommended!!!

I stayed three weeks in the City Inn on business. I love the iMac computer/tv set as well as the free internet. The price was really good considering these amenities. The room is large and well designed. I could actually maneuver in the shower and it had a completely closing door. Prices for food are ridiculous (the automatic service charge and tip are presumptuous) but there are many options within walking distance. Rowdy crowds pile into Leeds for the weekends which make it noisy and crowded but also add happy energy to the area.

Excellent hotel but parking rather expensive and disorganised (you have to wait for a member of the City Inn staff to come out and let you in and out of the car park - why they can't give you an access card is beyond me - also the guy who did this wasn't the most friendliest of staff!).

Good location, room was very clean and tidy and the staff was always helpful. We were on a leisure trip did some sight seeing and shopping in Leeds as well as visiting York to see the Cathedral. We would love to go back to see what we couldn't manage this time.

Stayed in a few hotels in Leeds before but this is by far the best hotel we have stayed in. The staff were very friendly and helpful which made for a lovely break. Would definitely recommend this Hotel, only downside was having to pay £12 for parking which wasn't advertised when we were booking.
