This is a good privately owned and welcoming Hotel on the outskirts of Kendal, with modern levels of comfort, ample free car parking and leisure facilities including Pool and spa bath. Catherine's Restaurant is named after Henry VIII's 6th wife Catherine Parr (Kendall was once home to her) and is located to the left of the main Lobby. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Westmorland Gazette Bar - aptly named after the regions local papaer - proudly displays photgraphs of the regions history and is a good place for a relaxed drink after a long day.
