Ramada Encore Inverness City Centre

An excelent location in the city centre, very clean and modern hotel, only complaint was the middle strainer on the underside of the double bed was broken which we didnt notice till leaving, hence we didnt sleep that well(must addmit i never reported it) but apart from that a good hotel with very nice staff in an excellant location.

Located 1 block from either the train station or bus station. We were there for the Loch Ness Marathon and staff was very attentive. It was my wife's birthday and they gave her a card and wished her good luck in the race.

Located in city centre and excellent location if travelling by public transport as very close to bus and train stations. If travelling by car please note there is no on site parking but there is a very good multi story car park only 2 minutes walk away and the charge for 24hours is £4. Room very clean but I found bed a bit hard but that may have just have been how I was feeling as unfortunately wasn't too well at time of visit. Excellent blackout curtains keeping the room very dark. Staff all very pleasant and courteous. Worth a visit. Unable to comment of hotel restaurant as we booked room only and ate out.

I was very pleased with the overall experience. The hotel was very well situated for publiic transport, with the buses across the street and the train station only 100meters away. The only problem we had was that there was no parking provided, so we had pay for parking in a public parking building, of which we were concerned about the saftey of the car.

Overall is a good hotel for it's location, close to the train station. My daughter and I came up for a wedding. We didn't get back until 1am in the morning. There was a little confusion about the second glass sliding front door to enter the hotel, as I did not realize we need the hotel card to open it. There was a staff came to open it for us, he was rightly point out the door need to be open by the hotel card key. But I was not too happy about how direct he was and not too friendly (without a smile). I have to say that all the other staffs are great and make you feel welcome. Hotel itself is clean and tidy. I will come back again, next time I will remember to use the hotel key or the sliding door.

Hotel is centrally located relative to the main shopping area but the rooms are basic but functional.

Excellent location, right in the heart of city centre. Modern design, the room was very comfortable and clean. There was no bath tub, only shower. No car park for the hotel.

This was our first time in Inverness and we found the Ramada Encore to be perfectly located. It is very close to both the bus and rail stations, as well as being only a short walk away from the shops and River Ness. We enjoyed a cruise on Loch Ness to Urquhart Castle, which is highly recommended, and took a bus to the Benromach Malt Whisky Distillery in Forres (the smallest distillery in Speyside), where a tour cost just £3.50 and included not only a free 'dram' of their 10-year old malt but a voucher to use in their shop. Also, as we were very lucky to have dry, warm weather, we strolled along the banks of the River Ness to the pretty Ness Islands, which are about a half-hour walk from Inverness Centre. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, with friendly staff and an inviting bar with a pleasant outdoor courtyard seating area. I can't comment on the food, as we didn't try it. My only criticism of the hotel is that there was no wardrobe in the room (only a rail sticking out of the wall with coat hangers on) or any drawers in which to store clothing, meaning we had to leave our clothing folded up on the limited shelf space. The "power" shower was also rather feeble in strength, but this wasn't that important as it maintained its temperature well. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and would love to go back to Inverness. We would also be happy to stay in the same hotel again.
