Located just two miles from the Highland capital Inverness, this striking Georgian building is surrounded by six acres of beautiful gardens, and offers free WiFi, lounge, drawing room and terrace to enjoy the richness of the gardens. This is a haven of tranquility, elegant comfort and excellent food in the 2AA award winning restaurant. The wonderful exterior is complemented by an interior that has retained the splendor of the historical features whilst offering the luxury facilities that the modern traveler requires. It is ideally placed as a base for touring Loch Ness, The Moray or as a gateway to the beauties of the Northern Highlands.

Inverness was granted its city status in 2000 and is the commercial hub of the Highlands with an enviable location on the banks of the River Ness complimented by the hill top castle. Beautiful and relaxing place!

Was pleasantly surprised how nice this place was. People were very friendly and room was spacious and nicely decorated. Dinner was delicious! We loved our short one night stay at this very convenient hotel outside Inverness on the way to Loch Ness.

Sightseeing tip: Long walk from hotel

We walked to Inverness town from the hotel, about an hour walk but nice with a foot path along the river. Ask at hotel how to find the path.
