great to stay before airport
Great location for going to the airport. The shuttle to the airport does cost money and they only accept cash. It was only like 3 pounds apiece.

Transit guest.
I believe the hotel charged me twice for my stay, the staff did not tell the truth about Internet connection, couldn't print my airline ticket at the front office and they pretended I was doing something wrong, did not get a statement review before I departed and didn't have time to question my bill. I was very disappointed indeed.

Two nights at the hotel and it was enough, nothing to do at all, I suggest they have something like a game room or even music, i was very happy to check out.

Travels Often
Close to Gatwick
We just had a one night layover at Gatwick and stayed at the Days Inn. It was a great bargain for the location to the airport and we took the shuttle from the airport to the hotel.

Great Layover Spot
Right near the airport. Tried their Pub for lunch, and it was great. Ye Olde Six Bells Pub is a 10 minute walk away, and that's where we had dinner; very quaint with super food.

Hotel is well placed for the airport with a good bus link - GBP4 each way. It is also within reasonable walking distance to a local pub/restaurant.

great place for the money very nice
loved the hotel, very helpful staff great lounge and resturant. Only problem was the taxi service recommended by the receptionist charged 50% more for the same service we had from the airport and the one into london was very uncomfortable...

close to airport
The room was clean but lighting could have been better. The FREE wireless was in 60 minute intervals and required signing in using a new ID and password each 60 minutes. Very inconvenient if you're accessing company information through a Virtual Private Network.
