We used this hotel as a base to get into London for the Chelsea Flower Show. Close to High Wycombe station (which has parking) the hotel is in the countryside and has the best breakfasts. Staff are brilliantly helpful. Highly recommended.

The hotel was in a beautiful setting.
The hotel was in a beautiful setting. We were there simply to overnight in the vicinity of Amersham - not to attend a course or a conference. The hotel experience was good, and the courtesy of the staff was excellent. We felt that the attitude of all the staff was examplary. The breakfast was beautifully prepared - and freshly prepared. The room was comfortable and generally adequate for our needs for one night. The only negative thing we have to say - is that the bathroom/toilet smelled a little of urine. We would be happy to return to the De Vere.

While the rooms were perfectly
While the rooms were perfectly adequate, the materess was extremely uncomfortable and did not lend itself towards a goods nights sleep.
