The hotel has exceptional leisure facilities, with a huge swimming pool, gym, sauna, jacuzzi and health treatment rooms. The bricks are the same colour as the original building, so as to ensure nothing contrasts too much and detracts from the splendour of the main Hall. This hotel is uniquely set perched atop an ancient mound in a 1000 acres of Northumberland moorland and forest just outside the village of Hexham. - The modern building, attached to the main hall, is where all but 7 of Slaley Hall's bedrooms are located. All bedrooms in the New Hall are well sized, elegant and comfortable - full of little luxuries to indulge yourself. Standard rooms are called Classic Rooms and look out over the courtyard or the stunning grounds and golf course. Facilities include En suite bathrooms with bath and showes, Satelite TV, free Internet connection, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. They are symbolic of an upper end 4 star hotel.

- There are quite a few dining options available. Hadrian's Brasserie is the latest edition and has stunning views and a menu to match. It is an exquisitely designed restaurant, serving the freshest Northumberland produce and seasonal specials. Duke's Grill in the classic Edwardian drawing room captures the essence of Northumberland's harvest, from land, river and sea. Dishes are prepared at your table. There is also a cocktail bar and lounge area, the Whiskey Snug (ideal for after dinner Cognac) and Claret Jug serves snacks and meals all day for the golfers.
