The hotel is near the airport. It costs about 15 pounds to get to the hotel from the airport. To get downtown in London you have to walk or take a bus to the train station get on the train then switch to the underground. It isn't that hard or confusing once you've done it but it takes a good 1-1 1/2 hours to get there. The same on the way back. I got this hotel because it was cheaper than staying in London. But transportation is expensive and you spend a lot of time just getting to and from the hotel. I spent about 12 pounds a day on transportation so consider a closer hotel if you plan on going into London. Other than transportation the hotel was great! You do have to pay for wifi and breakfast but the staff is nice and the rooms were comfortable.

Ok place.
The rooms were clean. the restaurant and bar were very comfortable and staffed with nice folks. There is a charge for the shuttle (8gbp each for return). Fee for internet, but unlike what the Comfort website states, no customer laundry facilities. I would stay here when only needing a place to sleep and eat. Too far (and too expensive for transportation) to use as any kind of base for tourism.

No Comfort at the Comfort Hotel Heathrow
We just stayed one night as we needed a place near Heathrow for an early morning flight home. I have stayed in other Comfort Hotels and this is one of the worst. The room was small, dreary and dark. Had nothing to recommend itself. The bathroom was also small, dreary and dark and there wasn't much power in the shower flow.And I saw a baby cockroach in the bathroom. Ick!

Not much around the hotel and their dining room did have ok food and not outrageously expensive. Even had a 2 course dinner special.

Practical and easy access to Heathrow.
Practical and easy access to Heathrow. Main problem is that the Internet is very slow even though they charge a high price.

Great lay over spot for Heathrow
Service was excellent and friendly. Room was clean. Bed was a little stiff. Hoppa shuttle was no problem and easy to get back the next day to Heathrow (8 p for the shuttle). Easy recommend for a lay-over at heathrow.

Awful
We stayed there only because we were arriving late to London Heathrow. We drove to Hotel. First problem there is no place to park except in an adjacent garage which charges extra. We were hungry. Since it was past 11pm, their sign in the room indicated that only room service was available. There was a reduced menu for room service. Called to place the order and they said they only had sandwiches, but they were not sure which ones. They said they would call in 5 minutes. They never did. We fell asleep. Room tiny and smelly.
