Good stop over

Travel lodge is great for a stop over to get into the city centre for going to events. Two things I found negative were 1 Dogs barking when going back and forward from room. 2 Disability hand grips were leaving in shower.

For a good nights sleep

We had a family room yesterday (6 May 2011) and it was a joy, the staff were very friendly and helpful the rooms, corridors and reception area spotlessly clean and tea making facilities were most welcome, it was back from the road wich made it reasonably quiet which I really enjoyed after partying most of the day and into the night and needed to sleep late.

Money-saving tip: Short drive from hotel

Get the receptionist to call you a taxi it is about a 20 minute ride into the city centre and cost about £5 (This gets my vote)
