Not a 4star hotel
At an excellent location, that everyone can see whether living or visiting Glasgow, one could expect alot more from a 4star hotel (as they say). There are definetely better choices over there with better value. Would not recommend

good location
My friend and I had a recent 3 night stay. The room we had was on the 4th floor with a view facing George Square which was fantastic. The room, although comfortable was quite jaded. the wallpaper on our ceiling was coming away and the wallpaper had seen better days. The bathroom, although quite big and bright had virtually no water pressure which made showering and hair washing a very looooong and tedious process. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. I would stay there again but not in the same room

Good location to train stations and shopping
Was a little disappointed to see hotel based on pictures presented on line, much more darker area but right in St George Square , near train and shopping. Staff working hard to do right and help guests. Glasgow being a dark city and weather cloudy, I would go back again but would consider more 3.5 hotel rather than a 4.

Great City Hotel
Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. It would be good if there were breakfast deals, the hotel rates are a bit unfriendly. Great location in the city centre and yet the hotel was quiet. Now that the hotel in Central Station has been 'modernised', the Millennium retains its old world charm and some character.

Needs a touch up
Comforatble enough room but one lamp shade was completely broken, kettle had to plugged into socket by door as nearest socket to table was too old and couldnt fit in, one lamp shade on wall was bent so if light was on the shade was burning. Old room, needs attention.

my first stay and not my last.
my first stay and not my last. your staff was excellent and your location is absolutely the best for exploring the beautiful city of Glasgow. i do recomment that you install wifi throughout the building rather than requiring guests to hang in the lobby for access. business travel demands this asset for travel lodging. safety and security controls were noticed and appreciated i moved to the millennium after a brief stay in another hotel with a group i will certainly recommend millennium to my group for next year much better than another hotel about 2 blocks away at a higher price!

Location is right next door to
Location is right next door to Glasgow Queen Street train station and on George Square. It was easy walking to all places we wished to visit while in Glasgow. Close to good restaurants. Large room in old building. We would be happy to stay here on any future visit to Glasgow.
