Designer hotel in Glasgow
The Marks Hotel Glasgow is right in the heart of the Glasgow city center, in the midst of the theatre district and moments from a host of tourist attractions. Excellent value for money
The Marks Hotel is an excellent boutique hotel situated 5-7 minutes walk away from Glasgow Central Station and about 10 minutes from Queen Street Station. George Square is only just 12 minutes away. The main shopping areas and lots of good restaurants are within walking distance too. The hotel itself is clean, room service is excellent and the staff very helpful and polite. The rooms are nicely decorated and spaceous enough. If I ever go back to Glasgow, I would like to stay in the same hotel. Excellent value for money, highly recommended!

A family-run Turkish restaurant on Hope Street, just 2 or 3 blocks from the hotel offers excellent food at affordable prices. The decour is a mixture of traditional Turkish and contemporary Europen styles.

A good hotel centrally located
A good hotel centrally located within easy walking distance of most of the sights of Glasgow and any number of restaurants to suit all pockets and tastes, should you not wish to eat in the hotel's restaurant. The rooms are more than adequate for a week's stay and have the advantage of Wi Fi internet access included in the room rate

Had a very pleasant stay. Clean, friendly atmosphere with excellent bar menu. Ideal city centre location for shopping and attractions. 10 minute taxi run to the SECC. Only negative point was the noise of the nightlife (which cant be helped)

Arrived and got early check in
Arrived and got early check in which was a good bonus! Room was an ok size but got a great deal so that was fine. Bar prices are usual hotel price. Great for a night in Glasgow

We went there just for a night. The room was nice, clean but no one told us you had to use your room key to turn on the lights. The lobby was black, which I found sort of depressing. The staff was helpful. They handed out a map of the city in the lobby, that was appreciated. It was a good stay but nothing out of the ordinary.

This hotel is ideally placed -
This hotel is ideally placed - central to the shops & only 5 mins in a car to the Arena. The reception staff were very friendly & efficient. The room was nicely decorated - the only complaint was that the room was very warm! Breakfast times at the weekend are a very flexible 8-12pm, which is great for those who have sampled the lively night life! Car parking is available nearby in one of 2 pay & display car parks - the hotel has an arrangement with one of the car parks to obtain a reduced charge.I would recommend the hotel & plan to stay again.

Very disappointed in this hotel,
Very disappointed in this hotel, apart from it's great location for Glasgow city centre. Check in service was very slow and confusing. The bed was hollow in the middle and pretty uncomfortable for two people. The hot water system also failed therefore unable to have showers. Very disappointing as I was expecting amuch better standard
