Welcome to Hotel Indigo Glasgow. Our striking Glasgow boutique hotel occupies the site of the iconic former Scottish Power station built in the 1800s. The 1st building to be illuminated from here was Glasgow School of Art & this artistic connection is reflected with portraits by local artists on our walls. Unique among Glasgow hotels, our style reflects the rich heritage & modern design of this beautiful city meaning your stay will be an authentic Glaswegian experience. Locally inspired Our aim is to help you feel part of the neighbourhood before youve even stepped out of our hotel, thanks to the locally inspired details & artwork around the building. Explore Glasgows history through the map, poem & pictures youll find in our lobby. A painting above our bar depicts people from the past & present that have helped shape Glasgow's cultural landscape. In our bedrooms, murals tell historic stories of the local area, whilst wallpapers depict local places of interest. Discover the neighbourhood. Glasgow is a lively & fascinating city whose youthful energy is set against a backdrop of dramatic Victorian architecture. It has one of the most varied & stunning art collections in Europe & many of the citys best galleries are a few minutes walk from our doors. You can also experience incredible local cuisine, world-class shopping, historic theatres & the River Clyde right historic theatres and the River Clyde right on our doorstep.

Perfect location

A gem of a find. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Our room, which looked out on a side street, was very quiet. The room was very tastefully decorated, large with high ceilings, gave a feeling of space and opulence. The walk in shower was large and nice toiletries were provided (White Linen). One of the main advantages was the location, couldn't be better, a three minute walk from the central station and the Glasgow Airport Express bus leaves every 10 mins from just outside the hotel. Drinks are pricey in the bar, but no different to any hotel. My husband had a cheeseburger one night from the bar and said it was delicious. Honestly, would find it hard to say anything negative about the Indigo and would definitely stay there again.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Have coffee in The Corinthian, an amazing place. Used to be a private residence, bank and high court. The ceiling is amazing ... The coffee is good too.

Top notch

We weren't meant to stay here but the hotel we had booked 4 months earlier double booked us, so they made our reservation here. The staff were great, very friendly and helpful, the food was great with the cooked breakfast being made to order unlike most hotels which offer it buffet style. The room was very comfortable and individual room temperature control was fab. We didn't use the fitness suite with only staying 1 night. Would definately stay again, such central location, just minutes from Central station and all the shops.
