Nice Hotel in a great location we stayed over on the Saturday and Sunday. On the Saturday afternoon and night the Hotel had a wedding reception, we the guests, had to eat in a different room, and if you wanted to go to the bar you had to join the
wedding reception - so get to the back of the cue!! - the hotel needs at least two bars!! They had a wedding on the Sunday night as well with about 400 guests; the were very quiet and respectful you would hardly know they were there - not like the lot on the Saturday it must have been a reunion of the London Barrow Boy's - they were very loud.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Long walk from hotel
Fox and Hounds Pub, good food and pleasant people.
The room was extremely small, dirty and with only one light working and the view was a dirty wall on the roof. I returned to reception to complain that this was not an "executive single" to be told bluntly that it was. Upon returning to my room
and with further exploration I found that the shower was only half renovated with bare cables hanging inside (explaining why there were no lights working).
