When entering our room I didn't realize it but my wife being a nurse noticed several red chords hanging from the celing and said thst this "hotel" use to be a retirement home and the chords were alarms in case you had fallen , so as a joke we pulled the one dangling over the bed and within a few seconds the front desk was banging at the door wondering if we were ok. The hotel is not near town or anything else and the staff is a bit crusty and short so if your curious how you will be spending your golden years , for sure try out this hotel
