No internet for entire stay despite
No internet for entire stay despite complaining 3 times. Finally tracked it down (myself) to the 2 ground floor routers not working but no-one was able to restart them. Staff tried to make me think my computer was broken (despite it working on the routers upstairs). I have a Computer Science degree so am immune to this sort of fobbing off. The boiler seemed to contain a fairly small amount of water and the 'emergency' reheat only worked sometimes. The watered down fairy liquid & sponge that had been cut in half were annoying. The iron was broken on arrival but struggled to get another as staff seemed to think that irons are supposed to leak. Car parking was around the back of building and the route was like an ice rink on arrival. No attempt had been made to clear or grit around the entrance to the building. Some staff were very rude including one who started answering a question and then answered a phone leaving me standing for a couple of minutes before I walked away.

Meager,bare bones, no frills here!
We were in Edinburgh for 2weeks for holiday, sightseeing and fun. The advert was for a luxury furnished apt. Instead it was bare bones, old, needed updating and cleaning. They gave us 2 bath towels to last a week..We were supposed to get new towels every 3 days ..not so. We did go out and buy what we needed but we had expected more. The location was great. Buses come 1/2 block away and good restaurants are everywhere. The Circle and the Orchard are especially great. But we cannot recommend the Canon Court Apts.

Very close to Tesco for shopping. I went away for a few days and was able to leave my large suitcase at reception. Very friendly staff. About 20 min walk to city centre.

Perfect for the independent traveller
The apartments have off-road parking, within walking distance of Princes Street and the other city centre attractions plus four bus routes to venture further afield. They are clean and, whilst the kitchens are compact they are well-enough equipped to enable visitors to be reasonably independent for catering, especially with the petrol station opposite and Tesco store within a couple of minutes' walk.

Good place o stay in Edinburgh,
Good place o stay in Edinburgh, but it could be so much better. It is rated as 4 stars...well, at best I would give it 3 stars (at present). Location: some 10-15 min walk to the city centre-good. It is located on a busy street, so ask for an apartment towards the court, it is more quiet. The apartments are of a good size but the matters on the bed was quite uncomfortable and the pillows felt like sacks of potatoes.... otherwise...all good. Would I stay here again?... probably, Yes
