Holiday Inn Express Edinburgh City Centre is in a striking historic building in the Georgian New Town. The location is convenient for exploring the heart of the Scottish capital. Guests can shop on nearby Princes Street or watch big-name stars at the Edinburgh Playhouse, just across the road. The hotel provides a complimentary buffet breakfast and a stylish and comfortable lounge bar. Free wired and wireless Internet. Children under 18 stay free with parents.

The striking Georgian façade of the Holiday Inn Express Edinburgh City Centre is the historical face of a contemporary hotel. Fabulous city break

Good for Edinburgh Festival ....

nicely renovated from big old building, very comfortable to stay. Inconvenience, if any, would be a little bit distant from the castle and the royal miles...but still can get there on foot in 10 min ... rather quiet at night which could be advavntage over those hotels near busy street

Money-saving tip: Long walk from hotel

The Edinburgh Festival is very famous... Needless to say, book well ahead if you wants save money and stay in decent place ...It takes about 15-20 min to get to royal mile from the hotel, but you can also enjoy many things watching on the way

Vacation Finally

The hotel was excellent. It was withing 10 minutes walking distance from the Royal Mile, shopping centers, and Edinburgh Castle. The staff was helpful in every way and we were never put out by them. We will be going back.

Great location

Great location - close to Princess street, bus station and rail station. Breakfast is included in the price - it was great, but it closes at 9:30 AM on week day, so missed it once. Rooms are spacious, there is TV, hair dryer and most importantly FREE Internet

Unbeatable location for the price!!!

Hotel location was unbeatable malls restaurants movies and sight seeing were all within walking distance of the hotel! The contential breakfast was amazing! Satff was very friendly and always willing to help!

PERFECT CHOICE - VERY PLEASED

This was a terrific location for us, close to the center of everything, very reasonable prices, well-appointed modern rooms, great front-desk staff and housekeeping. The first place I'll check for availability when I go back to Edinborough.

Nice, modern, clean rooms. Excellent location and helpful staff. Parking limited but that's to be expected in a city centre. No street noise heard in room considering the location and current major road works in Edinburgh. Very pleased.
