Good for families
Not the best location for a March (2008) visit to Edinburgh - it was snowing! It's almost a 2 mile walk to the city center and with teenagers and cold weather, that's too far to walk....so hire a small car! Staff could be friendlier but the hotel was just fine for a one week trip to the old country.

Convenient shopping for bits and bobs just minutes away but for the main attractions you'll need a car.

I didnt have wireless internet...
I didnt have wireless internet... only wired! Also I had a problem with the TV, which wasnt solved properly. But despite these minor things, overall it was ok
