The six-story building features one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments with fully equipped kitchens, spacious rooms, flat-panel televisions and CD players. Wi-Fi Internet access is also provided. Area description
For business, for pleasure, our location could hardly be bettered. With its pretty setting on Union Canal, the peaceful surroundings at EQ2 belie its location in the heart of the city. For those here to work, you'll find many of Edinburgh's biggest companies are within walking distance, including those based in the city's major financial district The Exchange. The Edinburgh International Conference Center is five minutes away. If you're lucky enough to be coming to this beautiful city for a holiday, then EQ2 is handily placed for many of Edinburgh's tourist attractions. The Castle, sitting high above Princes Street, is 15 minutes walk away. Holy rood Palace is a further 15 minutes away, although a walk down the historic Royal Mile on the way is likely to detain you a little longer, thanks to its unique blend of history, bars, cafes, shops and street theatre.

The bathrooms have a superb multi-position Grohe shower. (The three-bedroom apartment compromise of a double bed in the first bedroom and two single beds in the second and third room.

everything needed was there!

A terrific apartment, with all that was needed for a stay... wonderful kitchen and bathroom facilities, and huge, comfortable beds. close to centre, and the fascination of the Union Canal. The entry was a little confusing, especially with having to enter from an alternate place to the reception.. overall Wonderful!

Great location/good price/helpful staff

Our experience at the Fountain Court Apts EQ2 was very pleasant. Our apartment was very lovely, modern, and clean. The location was great, very close to Old Town and within walking distance of just about everything. Several restaurants are right across the canal from the apartment complex, so very convenient. Our 2nd night in the apartment, we had a gas leak in the gas meter. The person in the reception office handled the situation very well, calling the gas company and moving us into another apartment for the remaining 3 nights of our stay. Overall, the experience was very nice and we would highly recommend this property to anyone traveling to Edinburgh, especially for a longer period of time.
