Great Rooms
This was my first stay at this hotel. At first it appeared ordinary but the room was huge, well furnished and immaculate. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

highly recommended!!!!
my wife and i stayed there for seven nights and we were very satisfied.our room was clean and tidy every day. location of the hotel: nearby the centre.only 10 minutes walk from princes street. outside the hotel there is a bus station that takes you directly to the airport (35bus). breakfast: very well prepared and perfect staff: very helpfull and polite.the reception staff was always there to help us out

good location
good restaurant. The service was excellent and the breakfast deal is good. I asked for an extra egg and there was no additional charge. Huge breakfast included ham, eggs, cereal, fruit, breads and many Scottish breakfast items. Best to park your rental car on the street if you can find a spot and walk everywhere. Better to not rent until you leave town.

Nightlife tip:
Short walk from hotel
Ask at the front desk and get a map. There are two shortcuts to the Grassmarket and then a second shortcut up to the Royal Mile. Good pubs at Grassmarket and good shopping on the Royal Mile. There is a good jazz place about ten minutes walk from the hotel.
