The hotel offers a Leisure Club with swimming pool, Hair & Beauty Salon and Gym. A warm welcome awaits you in the large reception area with a beautiful, marbled floor. All 210 en-suite bedrooms are tastefully decorated with TV, Trouser Press, Hairdryer and Tea and Coffee making facilities. Featuring nine conference rooms for any occasion and holding up to 600 people, this is perfect for Business and Leisure guests. WIFI is free to all guests and is available in all public areas of the hotel. Spindles Health & Leisure Club Prices: Per Session:- 4.00 for an adult and 2.00 for a child. Gold Card (allows access to the Spindles Leisure Club for up to one week):- 10.00 for an adult and 5.00 for a child. Towels are available for hire at a cost of 1.00. Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult and are not permitted in the gymnasium Pet policy as follows: Cats and Dogs are allowed at a cost of 10GBP per pet, per night. Other pets are allowed upon request Please Note: In line with other Hotel chains as of the 30th September 2010 all credit/debit cards used to settle accounts at all hotels will have a 2GBP admin charge added.

Lovely setting but !

This Hotel has a lovely setting surrounded by trees with large areas of lawn and plenty of outdoor seating if the weather is good, but the hotel itself apart of the reception area seem to be a bit neglected, nothing that a lick of paint and a bit of general maitainence wouln`t fix but after a very good first impression as you drive in it tends to come back down to earth a little!

Entertainment tip: Long walk from hotel

If you`re going to a large event as we were ( in our case at the ricoh arena) make sure you sort out getting to and in particular from the event before you go as getting a taxi can be a bit of a nightmare!

This hotel stands in impresive grounds with good car park security, but don't be fooled by that. It has seen better days, the whole hotel is dated and could do with some investment. That having been said I have stayed on a number of occasions and it's fine. A decent pool the bar is OK although the menu is limited and basic, there is also a resterant offering carvery, not that I have tried so I can't comment. It's a bit off the beaten track and 4 miles or so from the M6 J3 or 6 miles from the M42 J6. The rooms are OK and it is normaly good value for money

This hotel is in a very nice enviroment

This hotel is in a very nice enviroment and could be beautiful but is now a little tired. However I would definately stay there again and recommend friends and colleagues to stay here when travelling on business.

The staff were surly and unfriendly.

The staff were surly and unfriendly. The place was freezing including the dining room. The room was very tatty- peeling wallpaper, very cold and a general air of neglect. looks great from the outside but the inside was awful
