When travelling along A30 toward Penzance take first exit on the Loggans Moor roundabout followed by another first exit on Carwin roundabout and take a immediate left. The hotel is located behind the petrol station, not visable from the road.

What you expect from a cheap place to lay your head

Nothing out of the ordinary, nothing particularly bad (excluding the extractor fan in the bathroom making a 'whistling' sound all night), but this isn't somewhere you'd want to spend an awful lot of time. You get a decent sized double bed, a modern tv with freeview channels, en-suite bathroom with bath and shower, and a desk to work at as well as a sofa-bed. If you want an evening meal/breakfast you can walk over to the pub, and there is a fuel station for forgotten toothapaste/newspaper/breakfast on the go. It has good road links being just off the A30, and there is a Boots/Marks & Spencer/Costa Coffee complex nearby if so wanted. The bedroom was clean, if a little tired, with the odd stain on the carpets and sofa. The pillows were extremely thin; I got by with folding it in half and sleeping on it that way. There are no toiletries in the bathroom excluding a small bar of soap. Overall there is nothing "great" about this hotel, it serves its purpose as a cheap place to lay your head if you're away on business and only spending a few hours in the room to sleep, shower, then go again. I wouldn't recommend this place as a base for exploring Cornwall whilst on Holiday though - the facilities (as in every other Travelodge) are far too basic to spend successive nights here.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

The pub over the road is part of a national chain and will cater for a decent enough evening meal. They also do breakfasts from 7.30am and have free wifi.
