Situated in the very heart of the medieval walled city of Chester, The Blossoms Hotel's popularity dates back to the last century when visitors demanded elegant, spacious accommodation. The same features remain today including high ceilings and a sweeping staircase. Ideally located in the City Centre, just a few short steps to a fantastic selection of elegant shops, historic land mark buildings and of course the famous Chester walls, providing a historic walk around the city. Our stylish new 1650 St Johns Restaurant serves a delicious selection of fresh fish and meats cooked to perfection, there's no better place to enjoy a delicious meal in Chester City Centre. Other attractions nearby include Chester racecourse, just a gentle 10 minute stroll through the ancient streets of the city. Chester Zoo, brilliant for kids of all ages and the famous Cheshire Oaks Outlet Village (only 20 minutes away). So whether its culture & history or wine & entertainment, Chester has it all and where better to stay than at the heart of the City at The Blossoms Hotel.

Great hotel but pricey

Nice historic building the the centre of Chester with lovely friendly staff. The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was very spacious and modern. The linen and pillows were of high quality and the beds were comfortable. There was no safe to lock away valuables and no fridge in the room.

Weekend getaway

Hotel was good but we feel the breakfast could be improved. The toast tasted like plastic not at all like freshly toasted bread.. The juices were not tasty and there were only vegetarian sausages on the menu no pork sausages. Loud music heard from next door pub at night till early morning.

Heart of the City

Staff were all very helpful and knowledgeable. Building old and quirky, but modernised where appropriate. Lashings of hot water. Great location in the heart of Chester. Easy to find off inner ring road. No car park but discounted nearby shopping centre parking very close, with a short walk across city wall (steps) rather than round corner by road.
