This is without doubt the most elegant and unique city centre hotel in Chester and one of the finest hotels in the North West. It is located within Chester's City Walls and next to the ancient East Gate with its famous and distinctive clock tower. There are two superb restaurants: The Arkle - which has been awarded again a Michelin Star for the 18th consecutive year - is open for dinner from Tuesday to Saturday, serving contemporary dining in an atmosphere of supreme elegance. It also features one of the most extensive wine cellars in England. The adjoining Library and Archive are ideal for pre-dinner drinks, morning coffee, light lunches and afternoon tea. La Brasserie - an informal Parisian style restaurant - is open for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.
