Great location
The hotel is contemporary with georgian grandeur in a fantastic location in a villagey area of Cheltenham. Our room had lots of features and superb bathroom fixtures. Our only complaint was the size and layout of the room (no. 128) classed as Standard. It was very small and the bed could only be accessed from one side. We did ask if we could be moved but we were told the hotel was full even though we checked in a full hour before official check in time.

Great Hotel, great location
Stayed during a sunny weekend in September, so made good use of the sunny terrace for breakfast and the good location to the centre and nearby pubs and shops. Room was fine. We were upgraded from a regular to a superior which was a bit larger, but still felt a little small, although had large windows, so it was bright. Well kitted out in the room and nice to have some water and soft drinks in the fridge complimentary. We ate at the restaurant on Saturday night, which was quite lively. The food was excellent and not bad value either. The building itself is quite impressive and adds to the feeling of luxury, but overall the service made the difference. Thoroughly enjoyable stay. Would definately recommend, especially if you can get a good price.

The best hotel in Cheltenham
This really is an excellent hotel.Design is great.Rooms are very comfortable.Staff are friendly and helpful.Breakfast is good quality and cooked for you.Easy walk to town centre.
