'Sleep Tight' - the bed bugs will defini

A very cold welcome on arrival at Travelodge Bristol. Following that a room dripping with mould and damp. They had tried to cover the mould with paint ... I might not have noticed had the smell not been so vile. We asked to move rooms. The second room smelt awful and obviously had not been cleaned in a while. There was mould in the shower and the carpet was filthy. There was also only 1 pillow and 1 towel in a double room. When we asked for additions they said they had none left - none left, in a hotel?! Couldn't be bothered to look more like! The staff were of little help and seemed to have no pride in the building or their roles. Our complaints during the stay fell on deaf ears and even Travelodge head office had little sympathy for our hellish stay. I can safely say had I not been armed with alco - gel I would not have spent the night! 'Sleep Tight' - the bed bugs will definitely bite!

Bristol night out

Great location for getting to some good bars and clubs without too much walking so saved on taxis etc. Room was a bit small considering I paid £80 for the double bed it wasn't a late booking. But it was the Jubilee weekend so perhaps that was why. Room was clean and tidy and reception were helpful and easy to talk to.

Adequate

Location is very central and close to the Harbourside and train stations. Staff were friendly and available 24 hours, however, the room was ok to grim. The carpet needed to burned on the nearest bonfire, it was stained and I asked for it to be vacuumed again. Beds were clean and and comfortable. Room had tea and coffee, wifi is not free but available. Bathroom clean but a shortage of towels. Bathroom clean but run down. Its budget accommodation - functional.
