RAMADA BRISTOL CITY Business or pleasure in the heart of Bristol, a 5 minute walk from Temple Meads Train Station, this 4-star hotel has a unique restaurant and the fully equipped Sebastian Coe Health Club. The Ramada Bristol City Hotel offers a beautiful restaurant housed in the remains of a 17th-century glass-blown kiln. Room service is available 24 hours a day. There is also a lounge with a wide variety of hot and cold food with sky sport. Free High Speed Internet in Public Areas. Each modern en suite bedroom has a flat screen satellite TV - with multi-media package-with a charge, radio, hairdryer, trouser press/iron, direct -dial telephone and tea/coffee, large car park- with a charge on site, city center shops are a 10 minute walk away and great access to M4, M5, M32. Not bad, not good either

Went there for a convention, so the hotel was very full, still the staff was not rushed of their feet and took good care of all the guests. Mattress was a disaster, felt as if it was slipping from the bed all the time, spent my last night sitting in a chair because I couldn't lay down from the pain in my back.

Bedside tAbles were not cleaned

Bedside tAbles were not cleaned as I could see the glass rim marks on them for several days, shower gel was not replaced and I had to call to have this done. Finally there was a terrible smell from the toilet that I did not notice until one closes the room window. On the plus side, the ac was OK, and the room was generally clean

The location is perfect within

The location is perfect within a couple of hundred meters from the station and a short walk from the city center. Internet was only free in the lobby as using it in the room cost extra.

excellant position in central

excellant position in central Bristol walking distance to shopping centre and more. If you wanted to visit Bath this is the place to stay if you have a car. Comfortable bed, good linen,swimming pool and small gym. I would probably rate this as 33/4 stars only for the average cleanliness.

1st room I checked into lamp didn't

1st room I checked into lamp didn't work so I was moved to another room, 2nd room just about to go to sleep and the lampshade fell off! Would suggest that an upgrade of their fittings would be in order, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the positioning of the hotel was excellent close to both the train station and "the Mall" which was a great shopping centre, closest that I have come to an "Aussie" westfield type centre. Overall room and bathroom were clean just if fittings moved ( i.e when getting 2nd lamp fixed with a roll of sticky tape!) then lolly wrappers were found. Bed was extremely comfortable and room nice and quiet, access to fresh milk would have improved my stay rather than uht milk as a 4 star would have felt that was something that could be done, a tad picky, maybe, on my part , but would definately recommend staying here maps freely available to assist you to find attractions etc and staff very willing to point them out and generally help in any way they could.

The motel is a little hard to

The motel is a little hard to find but this is mainly due to the one way streets in Bristol. The motel is a little tired but only slightly. Beds are great. Staff are good. Car Parking is 5 pounds for a 24 hour period (not daily). Very close to Bristol Temple Meads train station. Overall good experience.
