Poor heating
I staid there on night of 17/18, Had to wait for room but available before 2pm On entering the room it was like an ice box!. There was an oil radiator in the room though. Called room service and house keeping came put heating controls to max. Done this already! Later in evening room still not warm. Got offered another radiator, and a room change offer, room offered not that much better and was given two blankets. Was told it was defective heating as the room was on the end of the building(116) Not what you expect from a Hotel of this class!!!

Very nice hotel close to all amenities.
Very nice hotel close to all amenities. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful pointing out some of the places we should visit and was very accomodating and very efficient. Very pleased with this hotel.

First room allocated was not a
First room allocated was not acceptable. No couch, shelves or drawers provided. Management agreed that the room was only suitable for overnight stays. I was there for 5 nights so I moved to another room which was adequately furnished. Comfortable but not outstanding in any way.

Great city centre hotel. Clean,
Great city centre hotel. Clean, quiet and close to reailway station. We had a relaxed stay in this hotel, good breakfast.

My only complaint was that when
My only complaint was that when we arrived the toilet in our bathroom was dirty and obviously had not been cleaned. The receptionist was very apologetic and offered to change our room, but a prompt clean while we were out was quite acceptable. Otherwise the room was clean, the bed very comfortable, and the breakfast superb. As we booked online in September, the price was considerably less than the price advertised behind reception - I wouldn't pay 149 pounds for one night! Service was very efficient - taxis were booked promptly when we asked.

This hotel was billed as a 4-star hotel, but the room barely fit the queen bed and TV/dresser. I had requested 2 twin beds which the hotel had available when I booked, but when I arrived, I was told that they had no "family" sized rooms available despite Orbitz showing availability for 2 twin beds. Eventually, we were able to get a roll-away bed into the already cramped room. At least the front desk person was quick to rectify the situation.
