The hotel has 75 rooms and suites, all en-suite, and three conference and function rooms.
The modern facilities include an award-winning restaurant, popular lounge bar, wireless broadband throughout the hotel, and a private car park.
Service is friendly, and the atmosphere relaxed.
Our well appointed bedrooms are all en-suite, featuring colour TV, direct-dial telephone, hairdryer, complimentary toiletries and stationery as standard.
Wireless internet access is available from all rooms.
Rooms are elegant, spacious and comfortable, with working space and a little extra luxury for the business traveller.
Family rooms and suites accommodate from 3 to 5 people, providing comfort in style for all the family. Cots are provided on request.

- The Courtlands is a sought-after conference and meetings venue. Whether you have 150 people to lecture and entertain, a full day conference with support catering, or just need a nice place to meet with business associates, we have the facilities to suit.
The Terrace Room opens into a large Conservatory, and is a very popular venue with high ceilings and full height windows. The Richmond Suite is an elegant, multi-purpose, self-contained suite with its own bar and balcony patio. The Garden Room overlooks the patio, and is well suited to meetings and lectures. The Conservatory is available for smaller meetings.

- Our in-hotel restaurant, is open to the public and, of course, to guests. The restaurant is the recipient of an RAC Dining Award. The menu offers a fine choice of European cuisine, including vegetarian and children's dishes. Traditional Sunday lunch is a specialty. Use the links on the left to see the menus. Booking is advised for dinner. Our popular afternoon teas are served from 2pm to 6pm.
Breakfast for guests is served between 7:00am and 9:30am. Choose from a full English, Continental or vegetarian breakfast, or mix and match as you wish. - Hamilton Club Room and Bar

Nice location....But...
Located close to the beach and restaurants. Very small room. Friendly staff. This hotel needs a face lift. We are spoiled by new US hotels with big rooms and comfortable beds and modern ammenities.

Courtlands Hotel is a nice hotel
Courtlands Hotel is a nice hotel about a 2 minute walk to the seafront. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful - rooms were nicely laid out, spacious and the en-suite was clean and tidy. Location wise was good, although is a bit of a walk to the centre of town / the pier etc..... however can be done in 20 minutes and its a nice walk along the sea front. All in all a good hotel and location and would go back again.

Inexperienced traveller
Good location, free parking.
Good place for a few days away. Can park your car here for free and make it to the city core with a half hour walk, or take a bus which is 1/2 block away. The room was clean and the TV was good. The reception and all staff were friendly. My only complaint was the out-of-service elevator for my entire stay of 4 nights. They should of had someone there to carry luggage up the stairs.

Nice hotel in a good location
