This is one of the most well loved hotels in Bournemouth and has an excellent reputation with both locals and tourists alike. A highly recommended hotel with very friendly staff. Property features a beautiful outdoor pool with sun-lounges overlooking the cliff. A smaller indoor pool and gym are available complimentary to all guests. (DB 02/09) This is a traditional hotel with extensive car parking. The Carlton hotel is located on the east cliff of the town, overlooking the sea front.

The large rooms are spacious and bright equipped with modern facilities. Units are of a superb standard and kept in very good condition along with the bathrooms.

Very friendly and helpful staff.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were large with a separate lounge area (we only booked for a double but were given a suite). Very clean and good facilities. Located just outside the centre of town which meant it was very quiet but easy to get back to. No air con in the rooms which was the only minor disappointment. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.
