Absolute rubbish

this was the worst hotel ever. the windows were screwed shut. there was no hot water from tap or shower, complained but nothing was done about it. I was showered whilst sitting in dining room as the ceiling was leaking! I was not given another table. the tv went from black to White to colour. the generator outside the window kept us awake all night. the room was dusty, no house keeping was done for four days. anything we asked for to make our stay more comfortable was ignored

Britains Worst Hotel?

Unable to hear receptionist on arrivel due to volumn of 'in house' bar entertainment. Damp on the wall and skirtingboard in bedroom. TV remote not working. Huge Hotel with only 1 lift for 4 people. Broken on last day of stay. OAP's in wheelchairs had to be carried down the stairs. No hot water in tap in room on last day of stay - shower not working either. Toilet in room leaking onto bathroom floor. A real health hazard. Breakfast tables piled with dirty cutlary and plates. Clean your own table before you can sit! Breakfast Buffet not kept hot by ancient self service stand. Basil Faulty could learn a few things from this hotel. One to avoid. Great shame as location superb and building has real character. Rather like an ocean liner where the owners are trying to squeeze out that last trip. In this case the ship would be called Titanic. Perfectly represents all that is wrong with the perception of many of a holiday in Blackpool. Has to be seen to be believed.

They seem to be trying to take advantage of people. The rooms offered on the internet are not the rooms they provide. Prepaid room and on check in demanded twice the rack rate to let us in room. Then put us in noisy, very small rooms with no view. One of the rooms had bed bugs and other insects.
