Lovely stay

Myself and two friends stayed here for a birthday night out, location was perfect right next to all the bars in the mailbox. The staff were incredibly friendly, and we had a room facing the canal, I would recconmend this hotel and will definetly be staying again!

Parking

Having to pay £59 for the hotel and then having to pay £19 for packing is terrible,it is a disgrace that you have to pay for it.15% discount is a real cheek to the paying public for such a big hotel chain to allow that charge.

Great location, great staff - needs some tlc

Hotel is in a great location and the team that worked there were great. Rooms are weary and need an update; room key system failed 5 times which meant multiple trips back to reception for a new key; bar poorly stocked at night. Would only recommend for location.

ok

It was a good hotel however it is on par with an old fashioned premier inn. the bathroom was basic although i cant fault the shower it was hot and powerful. breakfast was very over priced considering you had to wait 20 mins to get anything as it was gone before its even made it to the hot plate. i booked two non smoking rooms and was given a smoking room which was tainted with the odour of stail cigerettes. the mattresses were far to soft which meant i spent all night attached to the side of my husband, and not in a good way!

Disappointing for a Ramada Hotel

Stayed 1 night last weekend when weather is so hot. No AC in room, only a fan. I assumed all hotels have AC in rooms. No tv so gave us free breakfast, nice of them. BUT breakfast time was havoc. Shocked there was no fruit! Tea brought but no cups for ages. Poached eggs had lots of egg shell so they replaced but they brought out veggie sausages (which wasn't out but we asked and they did have) with beans, then 10 minutes later brought the eggs! Will not be staying at this one again, will try another one in mailbox.

A Couples Evening Out in the Heart of Birmingham

The only thing I can say negatively about the hotel was that it was a little warn when you went up to the bedrooms, corridors, walls, carpets etc. However the staff were really really helpful and friendly. The bed was outstanding comfortable, in fact so much so I could have taken it home with me, if only I could have carried it. No seriously although it is a 3 star the room was a good size and the breakfast was perfect.

Comfertable, Shopping, Clean, Simple

It seems pretty new, a couple of things here and there but overall very nice in terms of cleanliness and comfert. Literally a 30 second walk from the door to (a very fancy) mall with lots and lots of restaurants and about 5-10 minute walk from the train station and a HUGE shopping area with indoor and outdoor malls. Staff was nice but not keen on answering my questions and had a hard time understanding the concept (and processing the reservation) that I had added a few more nights on to my original stay but not a big problem. As far as amenities there isnt much. Internet is good and there is a coffee shop in the lobby but thats about it.
