Lovely Weekend Stay

Spent a lovely weekend in the Hilton in Dec 2011. The staff were so helpful and friendly. When we arrived there was a bit of a smell in the room but they were great and we changed rooms with their help - a member of staff kindly even moved our bags. The hotel had a lovely relaxing atmosphere about it and was in a nice location - great views from both rooms we were in and from the restaurant. We will certainly return to the Hilton.

Great hotel and great value for money!

Brilliant hotel just a 5/10 minute walk into the City centre so nice and quiet but not far from the hustle and bustle of the City. Room was beautiful with a great view, I was going to upgrade to get a bigger room but there is no need to as the room we got was huge anyway, im glad I didn't! Breakfast was fantastic and the hotel bar had a nice atmosphere was music playing in the background, open till 3am, and the drinks prices were no different there to anywhere in the City centre, average price for a pint being £3.50.....Loved it! Can't wait to go back so cheap!

It is hard to fault this hotel.

It is hard to fault this hotel. On the waterfront, it is situated close to all amenities. The rooms were large, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfasts were excellent, as were the restaurant meals - as for the cocktails - superb! The staff were an absolute joy - very welcoming, friendly and fun. I would happily return to this hotel.

Great location, great service.

Great location, great service. Amenities right up to the Hilton standard. I loved the Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries. Bar and food service was outstanding, even on such a busy night (nearby theatre). My only complaint - the cost of parking. You can find much cheaper parking at another carpark nearby.

Concierge was extremely helpful in finding tours for us .. Quiet location by the river. Easy walk to the Centre of city and shops. Breakfast was lovely lots of variety. Dinner was o.k. rather expensive.
