Very noisy!

It was generally what you'd expect for a cheapish hotel, but I hardly slept a wink because it was situtated next to a club, and noisy people on their way home were shouting and laughing just underneath my window (it seemed) until about four in the morning. Closing the window didn't seem to make much difference. Had just managed to get a few hours' sleep when a laundry delivery lorry started unloading just under the window too, very early in the morning. I suggest they get double-glazing fitted. I was in Bath for work, and didn't really feel very on-the-ball for the day-long meeting the next day!

Great for a short stay.

I only stayed here for one night, and the hotel suited this purpose. In a great location for the centre. Yes it was a little noisy but nothing I couldn't sleep soundly through. I didn't have breakfast because it looked rubbish rough. Great value for money especially in Bath.

Room 310

Room 310, was noisy. Apparently next doors restaurants fan. Stopped gone midnight, started again early morning. Sounded like an aeroplane overhead. Room was small but clean. Bed was uncomfortable. Noise is known to the hotel, they are hoping it will improve with refurb.

Wont stay here again.

This has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed at, the location for the Centre of Bath is amazing. The fact its on top of a nightclub is a nightmare. To be clear we werent having an early night and had been to a gig but we had a ground floor room and had the thump thump of the music from the club to start with, that was followed by drunken clubbers and screeching women when it shut in the early hours which was then followed by garbage trucks and brewers shifting barrels and empty bottles at 7am. The room it self was clean but freezing cold, the tiny storage heater struggled to warm the large room and finally we had to shower in tepid water. I suggest pay a bit more and avoid at all costs.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

There is a fantastic coffee shop on Chapel Row that is supposed to be one of the best in Britain. We certainly had a nice breakfast coffee and croissants. It's about 5 minutes walk

Good location but very basic

On arrival the receptionist was very helpful, but on entering the room it smelt unpleasant! In the morning the water was cold so had to endure a freezing cold shower! The receptionist was apologetic and said that this sometimes happens if lots of people are showering at the same time! You would have expected there to be sufficient hot water for the number of guests. There was a paying car park near by and the travel lodge was in a good central location.

Cheap, but loud

Great central location, room clean, but comfort ruined by the loud noise from the club downstairs. This was particularly bad being on the ground floor, with radiators shaking with the bass until around 2.30am. I'm thinking this is why the check out was so nice and late!

It was great, for. Short stay.

We liked the place, but the parking ws down the road and that was listed on the website. But over all was good, the room was small, where the double bed jut fit, but was ok. Also the noise outside was very loud and hard to sleep till early am. Thanks

Excellent location

Great location for Bath, well placed for all the sites and nightlife, only slight issue was parking as we had to use the long stay car parking bay nearby at £8.50 every 23 hours but overall very good and convenient.

You get what you pay for!

The hotel was exactly what we paid for, it was comfortable, easy to find and there was a welcoming kettle in the room to make a brew. Even though there is a night club located in the basement of the hotel it did not distrube our night's rest.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Dine within Milson Place, there is a wonderful Brasserie that served a superb breakfast and the staff were extremely welcoming,it was a pleasure to dine there. We wil try the Brasserie again in the evening when we return.

Useless if you have luggage

Hotel was as expected and did the job but we were disappointed that having arrived in Bath in the morning before the check in time, the hotel refused to let us store our luggage anywhere. They let us check in early which we did reluctantly because they charged an extra £10 for this. Having also booked an evening train on the day we left we had to drag our luggage around Bath for the day. I think Travelodge were expecting us to wear the same clothes day and night during our stay!
