The hotel has a highly reputed spa of its own and charming- supremely elegant rooms. On your return- retire to the Spa for the very best in pampering and relaxation.

The hotel was amazing, it's getting a face lift out front so was a little sad to see scaffolding but you can't have it all.
My only gripe: they put your name on the door in fancy cursive - at first I felt special, until another guest used that
public display of my information to steal my identity and charge their lunches to my room. The hotel was quick to delete it from my account.
The sitting rooms are adorable and the courtyard out back is precious, sad I didn't have time to enjoy the spa portion of the hotel. Definitely will be back for more than just one night on my way to York.

The Adventure Cafe Bar was a great place to stop in for a pizza and beer while waiting for the rain to lighten.
