Modern, convenient

Less than 1/2 mile (<1km) from train station, fairly easy walk with roller baggage, modern rooms with stylish bathroom in older building. Quiet area except for families down the hall, did not check out exercise equipment. Pay for wifi in rooms, but free in lobby. Bountiful breakfast buffet, features famous local ham. Basically American style, which is what we wanted, with good A/C - heat.

On Pulteney Bridge, a few blocks away, Raja Tandoori Restaurant is nice for Indian fare, albeit two flights downstairs!

Great central location

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights to attend our son's graduation. The location is perfect only 5 minutes walk to the Abbey, restaurants and shops. Our only disappointment was that we could hear the TV in the adjacent room which the people had on quite load until about 1am on both nights! Once the TV went off we had a comfortable nights sleep. Breakfast was very nice and the staff very helpful and obliging.

perfect location

The parking was not clear, would be good to mention on the hotel website the Podium carpark located under the hotel and you can validate parking at the reception area. Apart from this, the trip was perfect.

Great experience

The hotel was easy to find from the train station and mere blocks from the Abbey and Roman Baths. The room was simple but beautiful. It was very clean. No mini fridge to keep food in, but we were only staying one night so that was ok. It's also right next to a large grocery store so it was easy to run out and grab food. I would definitely come back.

its good

Did not understand the pool on the roof picture that looks like it is belong to hotel but there is no such thing like that. It looks promising but when you ask about it it is pretty much frustrating.

excellent value

We were there for just one night to pick up a car but found the whole experience pleasant and convenient. This is an older hotel but felt very fresh with warm hotel staff. The breakfast was good and served in a lovely room.

tired and charmless

This didn't match my expectations at all: great location but...small rooms, dirty, tired fittings etc. Either go better and stay on the crescent or get a B+B.

Truly Fantastic

This was the best hotel we stayed in while visiting France and England. The location was within walking distance from all the attractions in Bath and the staff was very helpful with directions and alternate cheaper parking off site. (The hotel parking was very expensive.) The included breakfast buffet was wonderful with many varied selections. I highly recommend this one!

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

Park in one of the public parking facilities. It is much cheaper that parking at the hotel. Drop your bags off first and then you can walk back from the parking area.
