I have to state firstly that this is probably the worst UK hotel that I have stayed in bar a Travelodge in Reading! We had just spent the last 6 nights in Premier Inns and this was meant to be a better quality hotel to round off our week on our
return trip home. The rooms are extremely dated and like a throwback to the seventies in terms of decor and furnishings. Trotters independent traders would be suited to it ...cushty!! The ageing shower kept blowing freezing to boiling hot and almost scolded my partner. The toilet would not flush and on pumping the handle shot water out onto my feet, contaminated? The restaurant menu was very limited leading to us eating out. On the pius side the room was at least clean, although the rest of the reception area, hallway etc was grubby and 2* at best.
Overall a big disappointment and stay there at your peril!!
