The Copthorne Hotel Aberdeen, Aberdeen's premier hotel, is located in the city centre within easy walking distance of the main shopping area. Behind the granite facade of this historic building one will find traditional charm combined with modern amenities and impeccable service. The Copthorne Aberdeen has a small limited car park under the hotel, this is free on a first-come-first-served basis. Adjacent, to the hotel there is a public car park (500 spaces) charges are applicable in line with the city of Aberdeen parking policy. The tranquillity of the Braemar Countryside and an array of the finest Whisky distilleries and castles are just some of the superb local attractions. Whether travelling for business or pleasure, a warm welcome awaits. The various amenities provided are ballroom, banquet facilities, bar, concierge, conference facilities, disabled facilities, dry cleaning, wireless internet access, laundrys ervice, lift/elevator, non smoking rooms, reception, pets allowed, restaurant, room service 24 hours and smoke free hotel. Pets are allowed. Pets, defined as domesticated cats or dogs, are welcome at the managers discretion. For the comfort of other guests a maximum of 2 pets are allowed per room. Please note that other than transiting to bedrooms pets are not allowed in any of the public areas. A 25.00 charge will apply to the room for the duration of your stay with the exception of guide dogs, any damage or extra cleaning costs required, will be chargeable on departure.

Hotel is in a good location just

Hotel is in a good location just behind Union Street and on the whole is clean and tidy with a good level of service. The bar and restaurant are fine, what you'd expect for this class of hotel. It's fine for a brief business stopover, anything more and the lack of facilities would be a drawback. Given the small size of the hotel the facilities aren't great, also the standard rooms are on the small size. The conniseur rooms are better in size but look dated. The internet charges as with most UK hotels are a pricey. Overall it manages an average, though the service is good. For a supposedly 4 star hotel though it lacks facilites and the decor is dated.

Some confusion at check-in and

Some confusion at check-in and check-out regarding our booking/payment. Hotel was empty but our room was above the hotel function suite - the music was so loud until 12:30am that the fixtures in our room were rattling! When we complained they seemed surprised that we were able to hear the music.

As a regular visitor to aberdeen i was very impressed with the hotel it was much better than imagined i would recommend it to all my friends

Vey Nice hotel, Clean & staff

Vey Nice hotel, Clean & staff were friendly and helpful. Didnt eat here so cannot comment. Close to union street, shops bars, clubs & restraunts but far anough away that it is still quiet enough to get a good nights sleep. Drank at hotel bar and was surprised that it wasn't expensive (average priced drinks). Would recomend this hotell to anyone.
