A Palace with a view
This is a beautiful hotel with a fantastic view overlooking the Burj Khalifa. Service was great and an outside table at the Thiptara restaurant was ideal to watch the splendour of the Dubai Fountains. Our room was huge (a diplomatic suite - 105sqm) and very comfortable. The hotel is close to the Dubai mall with its upmarket shops. While the pool and the sunbeds were luxurious, the pool area is quite small and there aren't that many sunbeds. If you want to sunbathe every day until teatime you would be better off at one of the resort hotels like the Atlantis or Westin Mina Seyahi. However if you are looking for luxury where you can do a bit of sightseeing, shopping and sunbathing this is an ideal hotel for you. We would definitely go back.

Make sure you book your tickets for Burj Khalifa (world's tallest building) online before you visit Dubai. Also make sure you don't go to late in the day or you will get up there and it will be dark!

The Lap of Luxury
We spent only one night in Dubai, traveling en route from Kolkata, India to San Francisco. Our night in Dubai at The Palace was magical. The hotel is centrally located in The Old Town so we walked everywhere. Hotel staff were without exception courteous and helpful. If we have the opportunity to visit Dubai again, we will definitely book at The Palace.

The hotel was very nice. They put us in the wrong room on the first night, but happily transferred us to the right one the next day. The staff were very friendly. Located right next to Dubai Mall.
