Good Family Hotel
This is our 2nd visit to the Taj in 2 years. The experience this time was definately not as good as last year. 1. Internet and Wifi was too expensive at the hotel They charge 110 Dirhams per day - Outrageous 2. Late check out is charged at 50 Dirhams per extra half an hour after 12 noon. Again Outrageous. 3. Concierge very rude - Asked him to book a large taxi for us to be met with "I can't guarantee that" Again outrageous as that' his job. Very rude conversational and communication skills and very very arrogant. Gives the Taj a very bad name. 4. Telephone - charges are very expensive - 11 dirhams per minute to the UK and 8 Dirhams per minute for a local call. Again outrageous.

GOOD LOCATION FOR THE PRICE
HOTEL IS CONVINENT TO METRO SO MOST POINTS IN THE DUBAI AREA ARE EASY TO GET TO WHEN THE METRO IS OPERATING APPROX 6A-11P.

Incredible staff. Gorgeous hotel.
The staff was beyond helpful in making any local reservations for dinners or shows. Individual care and attention. Beautiful luxurious accommodations and of course immaculately clean. Location not the best.

Try the afternoon tea and morning breakfast. Superb selections. No charge for this luxury option available with cost of specific rooms. Coffee, tea, fresh juice, fruit, hors d'oeuvres,pastries, breads,sandwiches, omelettes made to order. Great 2nd floor fountain area with outdoor views. Check times.
