A room at Savoy Crest begins with a liberating sense of space and elegance with contemporary classic design & furnishings. The hotel features 42 studio rooms, 42 one bedroom suites and 14 two bedroom suites with en suite bathrooms and an additional large sofa bed & dining table in the living room. The fully equipped kitchen in all the rooms has all the trappings of a homely feeling. The trendy multi-cuisine coffee shop offers a high powered breakfast with various chefs' delights for lunch, dinner and mini bites.

a little surprise near Bur Dubai

Having been to Dubai many times, one needs to decide what is most important for comfort, value and location. The Savoy Crest offers a large, modern room, equvalent to a studio apartment with marble/granite bath and kitchen. Flat screen TV carries 1/3 English speaking news and movies with the others being Arabic and Hindi. The neighborhood ( Mancool ) is close to Bur Dubai and the Creek, yet 3 minute walk from Burjumin Mall and the Khalif bin al Wali metro Station, 10 minutes by metro to the airport. It makes a car unnecessary, though they also have parking on site. If this Apartment-Hotel would cost double or triple if it were in Sheik Zayad Rd. The metro is a great way to get to many of the sites. I will stay there again. They have a great buffet breakfast for less than 10 bucks.

Time-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

Metro Red line and Green line are 3-5 minute walk from the Savoy Crest. The Red line takes you to the airport and the Green line will take you to the Burj Khalifa ( tallest building in the world ) An all day metro/public transit pass costs than 5 dollars.
