The hotel is confy. Staff is good and they do not request information about the relationship between the people sahring the room which is nice. The bad thing is that there is a Mosque behind that wakes you up at 4AM and 5AM when it is prayer time.
The room is good and clean. The bathroom is very nice. The restaurants are not that good but there is plenty of choices around. Mall of The Emirates is in a walking distance in winter, do not try to walk in summer or you will get all sweat there. From the Mall you can take the metro to the most important places in Dubai. I would recommend it and I'd stay there again, with a room opposite to the Mosque of course.
It was good experience, hotel was very close to Mall of Emirates and metro is available to go to other locations from mall of Emirates. Hotel provided complimentary wifi in room as well as lobby.room refrigerator and iron was available.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Short drive from hotel
If weather not so hot then walk to mall of emirates. Plenty food places are available. Don't forget to ask for wifi info from restaurant if mall wifi cannot be accessed.
The hotel has clean rooms, and good service with prompt and courteous staff. The amenities available are basic: Coffee/Tea in room, refrigerator and safe locker, microwave.
They only keep two big towels in the bathroom.
No free Wi-Fi but were
lucky to get it complimentary as our room was not ready at 2 PM (Check in time).
Breakfast is not free and will cost you at least AED 65 (USD 17). The portions are large so go for a la carte and save.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
The hotel has a good Sheesha bar on top.
It also has a decent night club.
Having stayed at this this hotel on a number of occasions before I had high expectations. Sadly I was disappointed. On arrival we were informed the pool was out of order - one of the reasons I booked this hotel and there was no mention of it on
the website. Secondly, we were hoping to break our fast at the hotel. The bar downstairs was not open and the Chinese restaurant was not serving so we had to take a taxi to another location.
Do not stay here. The staff is rude. They have bugs in the rooms. There are fruit flies in all the bathrooms. I had something in my room that would bite meat night. You could clearly see the bite marks on my arms. They did not want to switch my
room nor did they want to do my laundry. They have no customer service skills whatsoever.
This hotel is not within walking distance to the MOE or metro, or anywhere really. You must take a taxi everywhere.
Room service food was great
Room was clean and updated decor
Nice bar with good music on ground floor
daily and harassed us about paying the room service costs. (Clearly we would prefer to pay all together during checkout)
Bed was HARD and uncomfortable
Cheap bed linens
Staff did not make you feel welcome. They make you feel like they do not want people from different cultures there.
