Hotel Stay while awaiting for flight.
Staying in the hotel was great but until I check out, I got charged for two mini bottle of liquor that I did not take/consume. Also, I got charged one day rate for late checkout for 7 hours.

great holidays topped up by suncity tours & safari dubai with there desert safari and dubai city tour, they were very polite, adventureous & informative highly recomendable. try there desert safari and they also organise dinner and lunch in Atlantis hotel dubai & Burj al arab hotel

The hotel was ok but they went back on their word and we had to pay an extra £200 for a third party even though they had agreed it would be no extra cost and this conversation was recorded by our travel agent. The bath robes were torn on one occasion and had pink lipstick on another where they obviously did not wash them. Also be prepared for house keeping disturbing you at 9am on the dot and the phone to keep ringing on the hour every hour if you have a message from 2 days ago. Also the Sketch bar in the hotel asks for identification even if you are only eating [...]

Do not visit dubai mall its not worth it. City centre mall and mall of the emirates was good. The outlet mall is ok if you prefer arab designerwear rather than designers we all know. Beware of hotel cab drivers they bump you big time. Trust a dubai local cab it is far much cheaper [...]

Good, but pricey.
The Metropolitan Palace was a nice one night getaway. The rooftop pool was great, and so was the food. The prices were too high, and given the empty status of the hotel due to the financial crisis, you'd think they'd bring prices down to attract more business. Be careful if you book on-line. The front desk was about to charge me for the room until I pointed out that I already paid online.

Exceptional value - afforrydable luxu
I highly recommend this hotel. It more than met my expectations in every way. Lovely room...immaculately clean....marble bath....fine linens....gracious service....location is excellent...would return here in a heartbeat

Disappointed 5 star hotel
Nice hotel, but the rooms is not worth the 5th star. Neither wireless internet or breakfast is included in the price, which at least internet should be now a days and when promoting it self as a business hotel. We were also disappointed when we read in the book in our room that there was a free shuttle bus to the airport, but found out at the front desk they changed that 1st of January 2013 so now it's a 50 dirham charge - it's cheaper to take a taxi!!
