We got a king-bed studio in Golden
We got a king-bed studio in Golden Sands 5, which we were very happy with. Comfy bed, decent bathroom, kitchenette with cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery, TV, sofas and coffee table, small balcony. General areas of the hotel itself looked a little tired and staff weren't jumping to help, but we got what we needed (changed rooms to smoking, taxi to airport, etc). There's a 24-hour minimart next door and a pool on the 1st floor. You can't beat this place for value in Dubai.

For the price we paid, the hotel
For the price we paid, the hotel is quite attractive though the location is not the best. Anyway, you have to travel by cab a lot in Dubai as metro is not user friendly in terms of the locations of various tourist attractions. Taxi fare is very reasonable. Overall it is a comfortable stay. One precaution is to hire a public cab but not the one arranged through the front desk as the latter is more expensive.

As the hotel name stated, it's
As the hotel name stated, it's a service apartment located at a quite residential area in the city centre within walking distance to Burjuman Shopping Mall. Do not expect facilities available from a normal 4 star hotel. Also, there are more than ten Golden Sands in the area. So, please tell your taxi driver the correct one. Ideal for family stay, especially with the in room cooking facility and utensils.

Nice acommodation. Great Value
Stayed for 4 nights with 2 kids. Quite central location and close to 2 Metro stations. The rooms are spacious and clean. If you are looking spotless carpets and shining bathtub, you wont get it here. If you want a place to sleep in the night after touring the city in the day, this place would meet your needs amply. The AC in one of the rooms was not working but Dubai was not hot on the days we visited. So we did not complain. The staff was friendly so they would have probably fixed it. Did not use the pool / Gym.

This is an apartment and should be used as such. All is present and will serve people with children or people that do not eat out very well. The apartment is at walking distance of major shopping in old and new style. Supermarket close and night live close. Recommendable.

The Golden Sands Hotel is located
The Golden Sands Hotel is located in very nice location.. all facilities for shopping, entertainment, and nightlife are available in the nearby, The Wonder Bus & Bus of Dubai are within walkable distances. Also it is recommended for its easy accesses. It is close to the business district of Dubai. Also to remark that the hotel is quiet, clean and nice staff but the facilities are limited and proportioned to its pricing.

Nice hotel with huge room
The hotel is very nice , the room are very huge and for 7 days that i was there i spend a good time, its really fantastic and value for money. I would recommended to anyone.
