Great Staff (except for one creepy guy)
Beckie Aug 11, 2009
The staff was very helpful and friendly. We did the sand safari and Oman tour. Our sand safari went horribly. Our Hummer ... crashed into another car on the dunes and the entire night was ruined. We asked the man at the hotel about it and how we wanted to get a refund and he took care of it (we ended up getting a partial refund). The Oman tour was also not worth it. It was tacky and the "snorkling" was a bust.

When you get in a taxi ask for the Four Points Sheraton on Mankhool Road to save some confusion. Apparently there are 4 Four Points Sheratons in Dubai!

Excellent service!

Excellent stay, this hotel is provided great service and the concierge was always willing to help with any request. The ... fitness center could use some more updated equipment. Pool was small, but we didn't use it as we were gone most of the time.

Very Nice For the Whole Family
Stephen Oct 31, 2008
The Four Points Sheraton in Dubai is very nice. The staff was ready to please and help out. We enjoyed this hotel very ... much. The only problem with the hotel is that they have no rooms with two double beds. They only have three singles or one king in each room. It was very comfortable and clean. The workout room and the pool were fantastic. We will stay there again next time as we go to Dubai. The price was certainly the best to be found in that city.

Very good hotel in great location

This hotel offers the little extras that make hotel living very comfortable, with good net and good chairs, with a table to ... setup on as an added benfit.

In this area there are several larger hotels as close as next door, whereas small food malls are quite close both directions, and the food here is excellent with a nice bar.

Excellent Hotel for Westerns
John Oct 9, 2008
This hotel is of the better hotels I have stayed at in the Middle East, whereas in my business one sees many. The net for me ... is of great importance and here it is reasonable and operates excellent. For long stays the rooms are well equiped and the gym is all new equimpment and of plenty. Lots to do in walking distance and only 10-35 min to down town depending on traffic, with a standard charter bank next door for banking needs.

In the Middle East never get in a hurry and allow plenty of time, thus not as bad as India but close, but better than Thailand.

Nice stay and very modern
Yvonne Oct 7, 2008
Only the internet/business center is very slow computers and printer capabilities.... that was frustrating. Also the ... Taxi services are very limited. Please arrange for a driver personally.... that way you are not subject to one hour or more waits for taxis.... really, it is true. The hotel had one restuarant and the food was very good, buffet style with a huge variety of goods, American to Dubai local favorites. All and all very pleasant and the room was very modern and comfortable.... the pool area was pleasant as well.... I would go back if on business... if for pleasure I would stay on the water......

Nice room but...
Wael Aug 1, 2008
The hotel looks to be a new property with rooms that are nicely appointed with modern, clean furniture. The room was nice and ... spacious with a flat screen TV. The pool area on the roof is nice, but the water did not seem very clean. We had the buffet breakfast, and although the selection was OK, the serive was not. The staff were friendly but clueless. The cook to order egg chef was extremely slow (took more that half hour to get me my omellete) and had to be reminded a couple of different times how I wanted my eggs. The waiters also did not get our order right. Although the service manager was friendly, he did not acknowledge there to be a problem with the staff training, and attributed it to shortage of staff, which was clearly not the case. The location is hard to find if you are new to Dubai and is not very central. Overall, great value for the money.
